Welcome to Ms. Fisher's Web Page!

My name is Betty Fisher. I have a BA from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO and an MA and four years toward my PhD in Literature from the University of Tulsa. I'm very excited to be a part of Bixby Schools, and hope to get to know all of you over the course of this year!

Our Plans for the End of the Year Are...

Creative Writing: We'll be working on a collaborative project with our Brazilian sister school and the writing class taught by Mateus Dubiela. We'll also be getting the first editions of Semi-Normal, or new literary magazine. 

Debate: Practicing skills to prepare for next year's season.

Competitive Drama: Working on "Because I Matter" and preparing for the Classical Monologue Contest.

Repertoire Theatre: Working on "Because I Matter" and finishing our "Five Truths" projects for finals. 

Theater Production: Working on "Because I Matter", our final portfolio projects, and monster make-up!
