The start of the school year is right around the corner. This fall, because of funds allotted from our bond issue passed in 2016, incoming Freshman and Junior students will receive a personal Chromebook for school use.  There are two critical dates for you to be aware of:

August 2, 2018-  Chromebook Early Distribution
If you have completed required paperwork, then your child is eligible to pick up his/her Chromebook on August 2nd.

Pick-up times:  9-11 AM, 1-3 PM, and 5-7 PM Location:  Multipurpose Building, Bixby High School campus

August 9, 2018-  Schedule Pick-up and Chromebook Distribution
If your child is unable to pick up his/her Chromebook on the 2nd, then he/she may pick it up on August 9th during schedule pick up.

Pick-up times:  8-11 AM, 3-5 PM Location:  Multipurpose Building, Bixby High School campus

Regardless of which pick-up date you choose, required paperwork must be completed prior to your child receiving a device.  You may complete all paperwork online at MySchoolBucks and purchase insurance online, if you choose.  You may also print the paper copies from the links below and return to the 9GC office beginning Monday, July 30th, between the hours of 8 and 3.

Acceptable Use Form-  Both the student and parent must sign the acceptable use form, verifying that you both accept the terms of the 1:1 Chromebook Policy and Procedure Guide.

Insurance Selection Form-  This form must be completed whether you choose to purchase or waive insurance.  If you select to purchase insurance, you may pay online at MySchoolBucks when you complete your online form, or you may bring a cash/check payment with the paper forms to the 9GC office beginning Monday, July 30th, between the hours of 8 and 3.

Either the student OR the parent may pick up the device as long as paperwork has been received.  You must know your child’s student number. (This is their lunch account and library number.) You may fill out paperwork and purchase insurance, if applicable, at the time of pick-up, but your wait time will be extended.
