Bixby School Families and Community Members,
As I shared last month, the District recently began a process to develop a five-year strategic plan. Our objective is to develop a meaningful, actionable plan which best captures the vision and priorities of our students, families, employees, and community members.
To assist us in gathering your thoughts and suggestions, we are conducting a series of community forums at district school sites. Our first session was last week at Northeast Elementary and Intermediate. The full schedule of community forums is listed below. All sessions will begin at 6:00 pm and will last about one hour.
September 25- Northeast Elem/Intermediate (Media Center)
October 2 - North Elem/Intermediate (at NI Cafeteria)
October 9 - Bixby Middle School (Media Center)
October 23 - Bixby High School (Media Center)
October 30 - Central Elem/Intermediate (at CI Media Center)
I encourage everyone to consider taking part in a community listening session. However, even if you are unable to attend one of these sessions, we would still like you to submit your priorities via a short online survey.
This survey is eight questions and should take only about five minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous. The survey will remain open through October 31. For those without access to internet, paper copies of the survey will be available at school sites and in the District Office.
