Hello CI families! Welcome to a new school year! Summer flew by and we are so excited to get this party started!! Let me start by welcoming all of our new students to CI! We can't wait to meet you. This Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am is Meet the Teacher! During this time students will get schedules and class assignments, get transportation information, lunch information, and best of all, meet their teachers! PTO will have tables set up for membership and spirit wear as well! School supplies that were ordered online will be available for pickup from PTO in the Commons. Everything you need to get started will be here during that time.
We have a special request this year. We are working on our front flowerbed and we would love for our students and family members to bring a painted rock to put in the flowerbed. Any rock will do, and you'll want the paint to be oil based so it will last in the elements. We can wait to see how much creativity will be presented!!
Finally, to our fourth graders, we will have a "clap-in" to welcome you at 11 am! Following the clap-in, you'll go to the gym for your video from CE and a brief orientation into CI. The PTO is asking that you wear your clap-in t-shirt from last year. It will be a great way to kick off a new year in a new school!
